Development Squad (based on selection)
(currently offered at The Rutherford location and at the Nexus International School Location)
This is a 45-minute non-competitive ‘team’ style training. Classes run on Mondays and Fridays at 5:15pm and children may attend both days. Our coaches will advise once children are eligible for the Developmental Squad.
This class focuses on perfecting techniques of all four strokes; freestyle, breaststroke, breaststroke and butterfly as well as proper racing starts, turns and finishes. Children also train to swim longer distances, for example 1000 metres, to build endurance and strength. Survival swimming in more extreme situations is also touched on.
The days currently available at Nexus International School are Tuesday from 18:00-19:00, Thursday 18:00-19:00, Saturday 09:30-10:00 and Sunday from 09:00 to 10:00
