Book a trial swimming lesson at aquaDucks

Are you interested in learning to swim at aquaDucks?
Book a trial today and find out more about our swimming programme!
During the trial, your swim coach will assess your (child’s) swim level and skills to ensure we fit you/your child at the right level and group.
The trial class takes place in an actual swimming class at one of our five aquaDucks venues:
Dempsey, Turf City, Newton, Kent Ridge or Queenstown.

  • FEE STRUCTURE
    January to November Fee
    Weekday Fee: $150.00 (incl. GST: $160.50)
    Weekend Fee: $160.00 (incl. GST: $171.20)

    December Fee*
    Weekday Fee: $112.50 (incl. GST: $120.38)
    Weekend Fee: $120.00 (incl. GST: $128.40)
    * There will be a one (1) week school break in the last week of December

    These guidelines have been designed to bring you the best possible customer experience.

    TRIAL LESSON
    1. A trial lesson fee of $20.00 applies for each registered trial session. The trial lesson fee will be offset from the first month’s fee for newly registered students.
    2. Please provide us with prior notice before the lesson time if your child is unable to make it for their trial lesson.
    3. The trial lesson fee of $20.00 is waived for siblings of all registered/ active students.

    FEES & PAYMENTS
    4. Payments are due in advance on the 25th of each calendar month.
    5. A deposit of $75.00 per child applies to all students. The deposit may be used to offset the last month’s fee should a student withdraw from the programme.
    6. If lessons fall on an official public holiday, the lesson fee will be deducted from that month’s fees (weekday $37.50/ weekend $40.00).

    MAKE-UP LESSONS
    For lessons cancelled by our swim school due to bad weather conditions:
    7. Lessons cancelled by our swim school due to bad weather will be entitled to make-up lessons. These make-up lessons remain valid until the student withdraws from the programme.

    For lessons cancelled by students:
    8. Students are entitled to one (1) make-up lesson per month. (This excludes lessons cancelled by our swim school due to weather.)
    9. Please provide us with prior notice before the lesson time if your child is unable to make it for their regular lesson.

    HOLIDAY RESERVATION
    10. Complimentary reservation of the student’s lesson slot can be applied for a minimum of two weeks to a maximum of eight weeks per calendar year.
    11. To ensure that the correct fees are charged, please inform us by the 17th of each month prior to your holiday dates, should you like to arrange for the complimentary holiday reservation.

    WITHDRAWAL
    Kindly take note of the following to ensure that the final billed fees are correct.
    12. The student should inform us by completing and submitting the official Withdrawal Form at least two weeks in advance.
    13. We will only accept official Withdrawal Forms as a notice of withdrawal.

  • I, the parent/student from the above section, hereby undertake to indemnify Swim Centre Verhoef (aquaDucks)against any liability, expense, cost or proceedings whatsoever arising in respect of any personal injury or death of any person or damage to any property arising out of or suffered as a result of participation in the above course/activity.
