Swim Stroke & Development Lessons Singapore
Take your child’s swimming to the next level with Advanced Swim Stroke & Development Lessons at AquaDucks. This programme is designed for children aged 9 years and above who have completed our Learn-to-Swim programme.
These lessons help your child refine stroke techniques, build endurance, and develop essential water safety skills. In our Swim Stroke & Development classes, children practise freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke, and butterfly while learning lifesaving and survival exercises.
Our structured programme also includes technical stroke correction and competitive swim drills, giving each child the guidance and practice they need to swim confidently, improve performance, and prepare for school assessments or competitions.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
Can children join mid-level if they already have strong swimming skills?
Yes, we assess each child’s ability during the first session. Swimmers who meet the criteria can start at Level 2 or Level 3, depending on their proficiency and comfort in the water.
Is this a competitive swimming programme?
Not exactly. This programme is the final step before competitive swimming training. It focuses on improving techniques, endurance, and race skills such as starts and IM turns, without the pressure of formal swim competitions.
Do children need any special equipment?
Children should bring a swim cap, goggles, and appropriate swimwear. For certain exercises, like dry rescues, we provide all necessary equipment at the pool.
What facilities are available at your swimming venues?
Our venues offer free parking, clean restrooms, and heated showers for children after class. Parents can wait comfortably in the designated seating area during the lesson.
Can I book a trial lesson for my child?
Yes. You can book a trial session to see how your child adapts to the class and get a feel for the teaching style and environment before enrolling.
